e-Meditation
In the beginning meditation helps to become quiet, still, calm and relaxed. Later we discover that it offers a way to deal with our thoughts and emotions. More fundamentally, meditation is a process of understanding and pursuing what is real, what is valuable, and what is possible.
Each of us has been inspired at times by strongly positive feelings that bring deep satisfaction. In meditation, we can learn to pay attention to such feelings, to communicate fully with them, and to cultivate and expand them. As the feelings of joy and pleasure intrinsic to meditation develop, the mind, alert and interested, naturally wants to continue.
We invite you to explore meditative practice through our e-Meditation program, beginning with the course "The Power of Breath," which will help draw out the power of breath to develop and deepen your practice.
Course Structure and Commitment:
Dharma Publishing requires a signed statement from each participant agreeing to our honor system that emails cannot be duplicated or passed on to others, or used for any other purpose than private use only. These levels can be further explored during weekend seminars and retreats at Ratna Ling, the home of Dharma Publishing and our retreat center on the Sonoma coast of Northern California.
Registration and Payment:
After having received the introductory email the participant makes a ten-week commitment to complete one level. Payment is made in advance and costs may vary per course so please consult each course listing for pricing or information.
